Gal Costa ‎– Aquarela Do Brasil - 1980

Gal pays tribute to the great work of Ary Barroso in this moody set of tracks arranged by Roberto Menescal and Perna Froes. The sound is similar to some of Gal's other smooth LPs from the time, with a nice undercurrent of jazz that works well with Barroso's compositions. Caetano Veloso joins Gal on a duet of "No Tabuleiro Da Bahiana", and other tracks include "E Luxo So", "Folha Morta", "Camisa Amarela", "Aquarela Do Brasil", and "Novo Amor".

The copy I have looks like was never played. Great album gatefolder with a beautiful poster
